JOIN
THE PETERBOROUGH ACO
The newly formed Peterborough branch of
the Architectural Conservancy of Ontario
meets the 4th Tuesday of every month at
7:00pm at Sadleir House (www.prcsa.ca)
and is looking for new members. The Architectural
Conservancy of Ontario was founded in
1933, by Professor Eric Arthur and citizens
across Ontario, to advocate the protection
and conservation of Ontario's architectural
and landscape heritage.
For over seventy
years, The ACO has been working to find
economically viable uses for Ontario's
historical assets, ensuring that the distinctive
buildings of our past do not become parking
lots or building sites for characterless
new development.
Check out the local
website www.peterboroughaco.com,
the provincial website www.hips.com/ACO
or email aco.ptbo@nexicom.net
for more information.

SUPPORT
BREAST CANCER RESEARCH
I will be walking again next year in the
Weekend to End Breast Cancer. It is a
two-day 60km walk through the streets
of Toronto to raise money for Breast Cancer
treatment and research at Princess Margaret
Hospital. This year, the event raised
$17.2M and set a record for the most money
raised in a single charity event in Canada.
I am very proud of my involvement in this
worthwhile event, and encourage you to
visit my website to find out more.
